I am a pastel artist who recently decided to get an ipad. I couldn't find a good reason why I needed to have one since I have a Mac laptop and Iphone, but now that I have one I am finding out just how helpful it is to me as an art tool. I can paint with it, research, plan my classes, make presentations....and did I say paint with it! In this blog I would like to share my ipad art and the ways that the ipad is helping me create better art.

Karen: I studied art in college but it wasn't until 2005 that I began painting seriously. I have been creating a daily painting and posting to my blog every day and I estimate that I have completed about a mile of canvas or in my case paper! I paint primarily in pastel but I am venturing slowly into the world of oils and acrylics. My small daily paintings are availablle for purchase on my blog or at Daily Painters.com. I am represented by these fine art galleries in the Southeast: High Country Art in Blue Ridge, GA, Bella Vista Fine Art in Asheville, NC and Frameworks Gallery in Marietta, GA.
